Feature Cuts, Kaskade, Skylar Grey

Check out this remix by Feature Cuts of Kaskade and Skylar Grey... Seriously, where can you go wrong?  Kaskade..enough said, as well as the beautiful voice of Skylar Grey?  Enjoy Feature Cuts hard hitting dub addition to this already great track!

Neil Young Remix

Here is a DJ right here in LA thinking out of the box.  I was definitely skeptical when I first read the title of this remix.  I  usually stand with the opinion that no classic music should ever be touched, let alone remixed, however, I find myself enjoying this new way to appreciate classic rock.  I grew up with this song on my parents vinyl and hold it close to a lot of memories!  Let me know what you all think of Sound Remedy..

Madeon

Stumbled upon this french producer this morning.  I think this is something everyone can enjoy, especially those who value perfection and well produced music.  "Icarus" is a track you will be playing over and over.  For some extra enjoyment check out the live Deadmau5 remix after.

The Alabama Shakes

Alright, let us change it up for a moment.  The Alabama Shakes!  They are a hot topic right now in the music scene for all you rockers. Also playing SXSW on the KCRW showcase stage.  What a classic feel!  a mixture of  rock n' roll with some blues.  You can feel the vinyl ripping out of your speakers as an almost "Janis Joplin"-like vocalist pours her heart into our entertainment!  The Alabama Shakes will keep you coming back for more..

Coyote Kisses and STAR WARS REMIX

I'm not quite sure what to say about Coyote Kisses,  US-based electronic group with a unique style.  The ambience and layering of their music really grasps my attention along with their mixture of 8-bit "gameboy" type sounds.  My favorite part about them though is throughout their tracks I keep hearing "Carlos Santana"-like guitar and synth soloing.  That was the deal-break for me, let me know what you all think!

Oh...and did I mention they REMIX STAR WARS??

Millions Like Us

This UK based drum and bass dub group has done it again.  The remix's just keep coming, this time on a Micky Slim track.  Millions Like Us has truly mastered the craft of a hard hitting, speaker blowing low end.  Enjoy this with the perfectly controlled distortion added in their mixes to experience a mind blowing 4 minutes.

Ain't No Love

So I was cruising the Showcase line-up's released by South By Southwest this morning and I stumble on some gold.  Got to give it to Canada, Ain't No Love is a 4 member group consisting of two "MC's", a female vocalist, and what I see as one of the hottest new producers of a pop/ electronica fusion craze!

Why on earth has no other website scooped this treasure up yet?  Here it is, just for you! and if you are lucky enough to be in Texas for SXSW, I envy you, make sure to catch Ain't No Love!

Ain't No Love-

Jay Fresh- Diamonds (Blue Collar Prophet remix)

Jay Fresh= Dallas Hip Hop, up n' coming.
Blue Collar Prophet= DJ, drum and bass, dubstep.

But to categorize this as Dubstep is sinful.  This track is so much more, it is a "get up and move" party banger.  Use carefully, this track may result in a wild night.

Wiz Khalifa- My Favourite Song (Feat. Juicy J)

New Wiz.  This track is hot.

Twista Freestyle?

yessir.  Hot new Twista freestyle, old school, over Das EFX.  Not much to be said.  Twista destroys it twice as fast as you can even think...per usual.

4FRNT!!!!!!

Goyte- Somebody That I Used To Know (4FRNT Remix)

YES!  LA-based 4FRNT comprised of Jonathan Castelli and Lucian Paine have recently dropped a bomb on the dance scene.  Rumors that Goyte will make this the official dance remix?  peep that interview on youtube!  But for now, enjoy the hottest dance remix of this month's hit song.

P.S.  Can you believe this is their first remix done together?  we'll keep an eye on them!

Clam's Casino- I'm God

Clam's Casino, aka Clammy Clams.  New Jersey based.  In my opinion, one of the hottest upcoming Dj's around.  Why?  The music he makes is for pure enjoyment, and it shows,  his hot instrumentals don't need a vocalist (Though we all anxiously await who will finally "kill it" on a Clam's beat, who could match and pair?), they are simply perfect on their own.

This track isn't new, but every time you listen you can't help but want to click repeat when it ends.  I choose this track as my first post because simply listening to it gives you the feeling of "there is so much more to come."  hold the phone! we are up and running.
