Field Report is a brand new project by Chris Porterfield that made it's debut appearance at SXSW last week. Porterfield got his musical start in a band with Justin Vernon, front man to Bon Iver. As Bon Iver continues to gain hype and create beautiful music, Porterfield has been in the background writing and developing Field Report. Finally, his debut album was recorded in Justin Vernon's studio this past winter and is going through the mastering process. Although the album is not finished and still unreleased, it has already gained a lot of attention and praise from many people, including Adam Duritz from Counting Crows. Here are two unmastered tracks to preview Field Report's debut album posted only 1 day ago by Porterfield himself, show him some love!
